In today’s scenario sports play a key role in development of individual’s personality. Sports are also another way of development of these children. These children have a good sporting talent but due to non availability of resources and awareness they cannot show it at higher competitive level.

So there is a need of development and promotion of sporting culture among these children. A specific sports development center has to be established for promotion of such kind of activities.

In concerned of sports, Sweet Voice started an exclusive sports academy for hearing impaired children in the year 2012. It works on nurturing their talent and trained them for higher competition level. This academy is affiliated with “ALL INDIA SPORTS COUNCIL OF THE DEAF, NEW DELHI” and “RAJASTHAN SPORTS COUNCIL OF THE DEAF”.

Milestones of Sports Academy-

• Won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze Medal in 5^th National Junior and Sub-Junior Games for the Deaf held at Tatanagar (Jharkhand) from 7^th to 11^th November 2016.

List of Medal Winners is below-

• Student Ramesh Kumar got 5^th position in World Deaf Athletics Championship held in Bulgaria from 25^th June to 3^rd July 2016.
• Won 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze medal in 20^th National Games of the Deaf, 2015 held at Gchibowli Stadium, Hyderabad from 4^th to 7^th January 2016 organized by All India Sports Council of the Deaf, Hosted by Telangana Sports Council for the Deaf.

List of medals are below-

• Our Student Manish Jangid won Bronze Medal in National Deaf Badminton Championship-2014 Held at Meerut (UP) in Men’s Doubles. In this tournament our 4 students represent Rajasthan.
• Won 17 medals in Zonal Games for Specially Abled-2015 held at Rajasthan University sports board ground Jaipur, organized by Social Justice and Empowered Department.
• Won 17 Medals in District Specially Abled Games-2015 held at Jaipur by Social and Justice Department Jaipur.
• Won 37 Medals in 1^st Jaipur District Deaf Athletics Championship and got 2^nd place in Jaipur District.
• Participated in 5^th District Deaf Cricket Championship-2015 held at Rajasthan University Sports Board Cricket ground organized by Jaipur District Sports Association.
• 11 students participated in National Games of the Deaf (NGD)- 2013 held at Divisional Sports Complex, Aurangabad (Maharastra) from 1^st to 5^th April 2013 in the events of Athletics and Badminton.
• 2 staff attended Master’s Training Programme under the scheme of Sports and Games for the person with Disability by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India organized at Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior (MP).
• 6 Students attended National Coaching Camp (NCC) organized by Special Olympics Bharat (SOB) at Khairthal (Alwar) in 2011.
